STYLING THE NEW WEST  “STNW” is anxiously awaiting the 2019 Holiday Season with custom wreaths and garland ordered, Wyoming-themed ornaments purchased from @BELLECOSEJACKSONHOLE for VIP clients completing the final touches on her proposals. This is the season where trees, lights and tinsel will be flying and what she calls her most rewarding season of the year. In house, she is known as “Holiday Design of Jackson Hole” where custom is her middle name.

Over the past five years, she has styled a 14 foot, Ethiopian-themed Christmas tree for a rock star, designed a 12-days of Christmas themed kid’s tree, fashioned a “Frozen” snowman, purchased and installed holiday sheets and bedding and offered many gingerbread houses with the fixin’s for her clients. Her last touches often include uniquely designed floral installations from @LILYANDCO and wine procurement from @BIN22.

“I love delivering for my clients. Whether they are home for the holidays or here for that special ski vacation my aim is to make their time magical” says King. “Many of my clients who stay with The CLEAR CREEK GROUP give me “carte blanche” when it comes to decorations and I stay true to form offering classic design except when asked to “go for it”. Most people have an idea of their “Wyoming Vacation” so I offer antique sleds with wreaths, snowshoes with greenery and Pendleton blankets to complete the look.”

The last couple of years, Jill has purchased her greenery and trees locally from @STOCKTONANDSHIRKJH which supports the Shriners Children Hospital. “Purchasing locally and giving back is really important to me,” she says. “I am so grateful to live and work in this incredible place calling Jackson Hole my home.

Where does Jill find inspiration? Everywhere from the red sleighs on the elk refuge, and the evergreen national forest to the snow-covered peaks and the sparkles in the sub zero air. King adds, “We live in the most Christmas place in the nation where the town is lit up by white lights and glistening snow. It is the most perfect backdrop for holiday.”
